1. How many children are in each classroom ?
We have two classes. We have the Monday/Wednesday/Friday
The Tuesday/ Thursday class
Some students attend both classes.
As an integrated preschool classroom we have up to 7 students with special needs in each classroom. We also have up to 8 typically developing students in each class.

2. What is the process for acceptance into the programs?
Applications are sent to age eligible children in the Town of Marion per the town census. Applications are also advertised in the local newspapers.
Applications are then reviewed by the Early Childhood office and prepared for the selection process. The personal information is "whited out" so that only the child's age,sex, town and family information remains.

3.Are families welcome to come into the classroom ?
Absolutely .... and we enjoy having you. Family members wishing to volunteer need to have a CORI check filed with the the main office. The office staff will take a copy of your license and have you complete the form. It will be submitted to the Marion Police department.

Initially in the fall we wait 6 weeks for the children to settle into the classroom routines. Families can let us know the frequency and day of the week that works.

4. How many adults work in the classroom ?
The number of adults in the classroom is determined by the needs of the children. We have between 2 adults and 4 adults. Additionally we are supported by therapists - SLP, OT,PT,Vision Therapists,Behavioral Support Therapists depending on the needs of specific children.
